DAV Centenary Public School Hosts Sacred Vidya Aarambh Sanskaar Ceremony with Devotion and Cultural Grace in Mandi.

In a heartwarming celebration of tradition and learning, DAV Centenary Public School, Jawaharnagar, organized the Vidya Aarambh Sanskaar — a sacred initiation ceremony that marks the beginning of a child’s educational journey. Held with great devotion and cultural fervour, the event took place on the school premises in Mandi district on Saturday.
The ceremony began with a traditional Havana, invoking blessings for the young learners of Nursery class. The holy ritual was performed in the presence of Principal Kuldeep Singh Guleria, teaching staff, enthusiastic parents, and the newly enrolled children. The chanting of Vedic mantras and the sacred fire created a divine and positive ambiance, symbolizing the auspicious start of the students’ academic lives.
Addressing the gathering, Principal K.S. Guleria highlighted the importance of instilling moral values and cultural grounding in students from the very first step of their education. He expressed his appreciation for the active participation of parents and reaffirmed the school’s vision of providing holistic education, where modern learning meets time-honoured Indian traditions.
