Abhilashi Group of Institutions Offers Free Education to Six Needy Children Under Mukhya Mantri Sukh Aashray Yojana.

In a commendable initiative aligned with the vision of inclusive education, Abhilashi Group of Institutions, Nerchowk, District Mandi, has confirmed the sponsorship of six underprivileged children for free higher education. This move comes under the Mukhya Mantri Sukh Aashray Yojana, a state-run program aimed at empowering orphaned and economically disadvantaged students through quality education.
Dr. R.K. Abhilashi, Chairman of the Abhilashi Group of Institutions, shared during an exclusive interview that this initiative reflects the institution’s commitment to social responsibility. “We are dedicated to serving those who cannot afford the expenses of quality education. This is a step forward in that direction,” he stated.

As per the official communication (No. 6-4(F)-6/23-MND-MSAY-Vol-XIII-Loose) from the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Mandi, five children from Child Care Institutions (CCIs) in District Mandi and Chamba have been selected for full sponsorship at Abhilashi University, Chailchowk, for various undergraduate courses in the upcoming academic session.
Details of the sponsored students are as follows:
Nishant Thakur (B.Tech. Computer Engg.), Piyush (BBA) and Yuv Raj (BCA) from Mandi district and Kuwar Singh (BCA) and Sudesh Kumar (BA.B.Ed.) Chamba district.
“In addition, Karan, a student from CCI Dehar, is already pursuing B.Tech. (Electrical Engineering) at T.R. Abhilashi Memorial Institute of Engineering and Technology, Tanda, under the same scheme for the 2024-28 academic session”,said Dr. Abhilashi.
The Deputy Commissioner, Mandi, has acknowledged this generous act, emphasizing the importance of such collaborations in uplifting the marginalized youth.
