PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh Invites Youth to Statue Unveiling of Congress Stalwart and six time Chief Minister late Virbhadra Singh; Participates in ‘Tarang 2025’ at Himachal Pradesh University.

PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh visited Himachal Pradesh University today and extended a heartfelt invitation to the youth for the grand unveiling ceremony of the statue of Congress Stalwart and six time Chief Minister Late Raja Virbhadra Singh . The event is scheduled to be held on October 13, 2025, at 10 AM at The Ridge, Shimla.

During his visit, Vikramaditya Singh actively participated in ‘Tarang 2025’, a vibrant youth festival celebrated at the university. Engaging with students, he shared fond memories of his father and emphasized the deep connection Raja Virbhadra Singh had with the youth of Himachal Pradesh.

“Raja Sahib has always been a source of inspiration for the younger generation. His life was devoted to empowering youth through education, employment, and welfare. He firmly believed that the future of Himachal would shine only when its youth are strong, educated, and capable,” Vikramaditya Singh said while addressing the students.

Calling upon the youth to attend the historic unveiling ceremony, the PWD Minister highlighted that the statue of Virbhadra Singh will not just be a tribute in stone, but a symbol of values, commitment, and leadership that he embodied throughout his life.

He encouraged students and young citizens to come forward and be part of this momentous occasion, saying, “Let us all come together on October 13 to pay homage to the great leader who empowered generations with his vision, actions, and unwavering dedication.”

The statue unveiling is expected to draw participation from citizens across the state, marking a day of tribute to one of the tallest figures in Himachal’s political and developmental journey.
