CM Sukhu Unveils Official Jersey for Dharamshala Marathon 2025, Scheduled for 25 December.

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu onon Tuesday unveiled the official jersey for the Dharamshala Marathon 2025, marking an important milestone for the upcoming sporting extravaganza to be held on 25th December 2025. The launch event took place in Dharamshala in the presence of senior officials and public representatives.
The vibrant jersey design — inspired by the majestic Dhauladhar mountain ranges and enriched with elements of local culture — was widely appreciated for its aesthetics and its reflection of the region’s natural heritage.
Organised by the Municipal Corporation Dharamshala in collaboration with the District Administration, Kangra, the Dharamshala Marathon aims to promote fitness, sports tourism, and showcase the serene beauty of the Himalayan foothills. The event is expected to draw both national and international athletes, further strengthening Dharamshala’s identity as a premier sporting destination.
CM Sukhu praised the efforts of the Municipal Corporation, stating that the jersey symbolizes more than sportswear — it is a “badge of honour” for every participant who will take on this endurance challenge with pride.
Registrations for the Full Marathon (42.195 km), Half Marathon (21.0975 km), and various short-distance categories are now open on the official Dharamshala Marathon website.
The unveiling ceremony was attended by former MP Viplove Thakur, Mayor Neenu Sharma, former Mayor Devender Jaggi, Deputy Commissioner Hemraj Berwa, Municipal Commissioner Zaffar Iqbal, Superintendent of Police Ashok Ratan, along with several Municipal Corporation councillors.
With its blend of scenic routes, sporting spirit, and enthusiastic local participation, the Dharamshala Marathon 2025 promises to be a landmark event for the region.
