CM Sukhu Disburses Financial Aid, Launches Key Digital Initiatives at Jan Sankalp Sammelan in Mandi.

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, while addressing the Jan Sankalp Sammelan in Mandi on Sunday, rolled out a series of development initiatives and disbursed financial assistance to beneficiaries under multiple flagship welfare schemes. The event marked a major push toward the state government’s agenda of digital governance, social welfare, and rural empowerment.
The Chief Minister inaugurated several development projects, including the Community Relief Centre at Rahkhot Thunag, and unveiled major digital services such as the MyDeed Portal, the Naksha Scheme, the digitally signed and updated Jamabandi module, and the Bhunaksha 5.0 initiative. He also launched the new Gramin Bank logo and inaugurated the Basketball Girls’ Hostel at Rabindranath Tagore Government College, Sarkaghat.
Direct Financial Transfers and Aid Distribution
In a significant financial outreach, CM Sukhu transferred Rs, 50.63 lakh directly into the bank accounts of 401 farmers under the Rajiv Gandhi Prakritik Kheti Khushal Kisan Yojana.
Additionally, a special relief package of Rs. 51.12 crore was disbursed to disaster-affected families across Chamba, Hamirpur, Kangra, Lahaul-Spiti, Sirmaur, Solan, and Una districts, reflecting the government’s commitment to rehabilitating regions impacted by natural calamities.
The Chief Minister also handed over symbolic e-taxi keys to 25 beneficiaries under the Rajiv Gandhi Swarozgar Start-up Scheme, promoting self-employment avenues. As part of the government’s overseas employment initiative, 21 youths selected for international placements received their air tickets and visas.
Support Under Various Livelihood Schemes
Further strengthening rural and livelihood sectors, CM Sukhu distributed:
- Rs. 10.38 lakh to 10 beneficiaries from Kangra, Mandi, Hamirpur and Una districts under the Mukhyamantri Carp Matsyapalan Yojana.
- Rs. 1.76 lakh to beneficiaries of the Mukhyamantri Madhu Mandav Vikas Yojana in Mandi district.
- Assistance under the Himachal Pushp Kranti Yojana, supporting floriculture.
- Ownership rights certificates to five beneficiaries from Kinnaur under the Forest Rights Act, granting them authority over their traditional forest land.
Beneficiaries under the Mukhyamantri Sukh-Ashray Yojana and the Mukhyamantri Shagun Yojana also received assistance during the event.
e-Rs. Vouchers for Students Under Digital Scheme
A major highlight of the ceremony was the distribution of e-Rs. vouchers to meritorious students under the Srinivasa Ramanujan Students Digital Scheme. Through this digital voucher, students can purchase laptops, tablets, or smartphones of their choice.
A total of 8,450 Class 10 and 12 toppers, along with 900 final-year undergraduate students, have benefited from the scheme, ensuring equitable access to modern digital learning tools.

Addressing the gathering, CM Sukhu emphasized that these initiatives underscore the state government’s dedication to promoting modern education, digital empowerment, and welfare-oriented governance.
He reiterated that enabling students and citizens to access technology and government services with ease remains a top priority for the administration.
With a blend of financial assistance, digital reform, and citizen-centered development projects, the Jan Sankalp Sammelan highlighted the government’s ongoing efforts to enhance governance and strengthen public welfare across Himachal Pradesh.
