Bhuttico Cooperative Society Bids Farewell to Chief General Manager Vijay Singh Thakur and Assistant Weaving Master Ram Nath.

A dignified farewell ceremony was organized today at the Bhuttico Auditorium to honor Vijay Singh Thakur, Chief General Manager, and Ram Nath, Assistant Weaving Master, on the completion of their long and dedicated service to the Bhuttico Cooperative Society.
Vijay Singh Thakur retired today from the post of Chief General Manager after serving the society for more than 41 years in various key positions. During his tenure, he played a significant role in strengthening the organization and taking Bhuttico’s traditional craftsmanship to national and international recognition. As a mark of appreciation, the society presented him with a gratuity amount of Rs. 14.56 lakh, while the officers and employees collectively contributed Rs. 51,000 as a farewell token.

Ram Nath served the society with equal dedication, contributing 28 years as a weaver and subsequently 12 years as Assistant Weaving Master. In recognition of his services, he was awarded a gratuity amount of Rs. 2.44 lakh, Rs. 28,000 towards earned leave encashment, and Rs. 51,000 from the officers and employees.

Presiding over the function, Bhuttico Society President and former Horticulture Minister Satya Prakash Thakur expressed mixed feelings of pride and emotion on the retirement of both officials. He stated that while the society feels proud of their remarkable service careers, it will deeply miss their experience, commitment, and leadership. He further added that Bhuttico would continue to seek their valuable guidance for the future growth of the society. Highlighting Bhuttico’s global reputation, he said that the skilled craftsmanship and dedication of officers like Vijay Singh Thakur and Ram Nath have been instrumental in establishing Bhuttico’s name worldwide.

Both retirees were ceremonially honored and given a traditional farewell by adorning them with Kulluvi caps, symbolizing respect and gratitude.
The event was attended by Kangra Central Cooperative Bank Director Premlata Thakur, Society Vice President Rohit Thakur, Mohar Singh, former Vice President of HIMBUNAKAR Brahm Swaroop Thakur, former General Manager Inder Singh, Board of Management members Madan Lal, Tikam Ram, Indra Devi, Atma Ram, Sohan Singh, Prem Singh, Jog Dhyan, General Managers Surti Devi and Dinesh Thakur, Kishan Chand, other officers and employees, as well as family members and relatives of Vijay Singh Thakur and Ram Nath.
The ceremony concluded with warm wishes for a healthy, fulfilling, and prosperous post-retirement life for both esteemed retirees.
