State-Level Haroli Festival-2026 Begins with Grandeur, CM Sukhu Inaugurates Event in Una.

The much-awaited State-Level Haroli Festival-2026 commenced on a vibrant note as Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu formally inaugurated the event at Haroli in Una district on Sunday. The Chief Minister described the festival as a celebration of the spirit of Baisakhi and the rich cultural heritage of Himachal Pradesh, marking the beginning of a series of colorful festivities.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister paid obeisance at the sacred flame of Chintpurni Temple, praying for peace, prosperity, and well-being of the people of the state. He also took part in a traditional procession that beautifully showcased the region’s folk traditions and cultural diversity, drawing enthusiastic participation from locals and visitors alike.

Addressing the gathering during the inaugural cultural evening,  CM Sukhu extended warm greetings to the people of Haroli and Una district. He emphasized that such festivals reflect the deep-rooted cultural values, unity, and collective strength of society. He further stressed the importance of preserving and promoting local traditions to strengthen the state’s cultural identity.

The Chief Minister lauded the efforts of Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri and the local administration for organizing the festival in a grand and well-coordinated manner.

Speaking on the occasion, Agnihotri reiterated the state government’s commitment to inclusive development while ensuring the preservation and promotion of Himachal Pradesh’s rich cultural legacy. He noted that platforms like the Haroli Festival not only celebrate tradition but also promote social harmony and community participation.

The inaugural cultural evening witnessed electrifying performances, with popular Punjabi singer Gippy Grewal enthralling the audience with his hit songs. Earlier, the Abhigya Band also captivated attendees with an impressive musical performance.

Among those present were MLAs Rakesh Kalia, Vivek Sharma, Sudarshan Babloo, former minister and Chairman of Himachal Pradesh State SC Commission Kuldeep Dhiman, former MLA Satpal Singh Raizada, along with other dignitaries.
