Grand Felicitation Ceremony Held for Mandi Under-16 Cricket Team After Championship Victory.

The Mandi Under-16 cricket team received a grand welcome and special felicitation after emerging champions in the Under-16 tournament organised under the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association. The ceremony was organized at Classio Hotel in Mandi, where players, coaches, and support staff were honored for their outstanding achievement.

The event was attended by Cricket Association of Mandi President Ajay Rana as the chief guest. He presented mementos and ceremonial caps to the players and coaching staff in recognition of their remarkable performance. His wife, former principal Amita Rana, was also present on the occasion.

During the ceremony, Ajay Rana praised the young cricketers for bringing pride to Mandi district through their dedication and exceptional performance. He stated that the players achieved success through hard work, discipline, and strong team spirit. He further encouraged the team to continue striving for excellence in the future and assured that the Cricket Association of Mandi remains committed to providing every possible facility and support to budding cricketers.

In a special gesture, mothers of the players were also honored during the event, recognizing the important role of family support in the success of young athletes.

Several prominent personalities from Himachal cricket fraternity were present and felicitated during the program, including former Ranji player Praveen Sen, Ranji cricketer Mukesh Sharma, Ranji cricketer Kaul Singh Thakur, chief coach Chetan Thakur, coach Manish Gupta, and coach Shakun Saini.

The event also recognized Neha Saini for her contribution to cricket. Coaches from various sub-centers associated with the association were also honored for their dedication toward nurturing young talent.

Among the dignitaries present at the ceremony were Cricket Association of Mandi office bearers Mahender Goswami, Abhinav Guleria, Girish Kapoor, Tara Pansari, Dr Akshay, and Sunny Singh.

The atmosphere during the felicitation ceremony was filled with excitement and pride as players, parents, and cricket enthusiasts celebrated the team’s historic victory. Nearly 200 people, including players and supporters, attended the event and extended their best wishes to the young champions for their future endeavors.
