DAV School EEDP Branch Mandi Celebrates World Environment Day with Zeal and Awareness.

World Environment Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and environmental awareness at the EEDP Branch of DAV School Jawahar Nagar in Mandi district today. The event aimed to sensitize students about the importance of protecting nature and adopting eco-friendly practices in their daily lives.

The celebration witnessed active participation from students, teachers, and staff members. On this special occasion, School In-charge Seema Kapoor addressed the students and emphasized the significance of preserving the environment. She educated the children about various environmental challenges and shared practical ways to conserve natural resources and protect the planet for future generations.
Students of Classes I and II presented a vibrant cultural programme highlighting the message of environmental conservation. Through energetic dance performances, melodious songs, poetry recitations, meaningful slogans, and creative presentations, the young learners effectively conveyed the importance of maintaining a clean and green environment.

Adding further charm to the celebration, the little stars of EEDP-I came dressed beautifully in shades of green and blue, symbolizing nature, water, and the Earth. They enthusiastically spread the message of environmental protection through innovative props, thought-provoking slogans, skits, and captivating dance performances. Their confidence, awareness, and creativity impressed everyone present.
The programme served as an excellent platform for young children to express their concern for nature and understand their role in safeguarding the environment. The activities encouraged students to become responsible citizens and nature lovers from an early age.

Principal Kuldeep Singh Guleria extended his heartfelt wishes to the students on the occasion of World Environment Day. In his message, he highlighted the importance of adopting sustainable practices and taking collective responsibility for preserving a clean, healthy, and pollution-free environment. He encouraged students to contribute actively towards environmental protection through small but meaningful actions.

The entire programme was successfully conducted under the guidance and leadership of Principal Kuldeep Singh Guleria.
