BJP Celebrates Panchayat Poll Success in Dharampur, Felicitates Newly Elected Representatives.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a special meeting and felicitation ceremony at its Dharampur Mandal office of Mandi district on Saturday to celebrate the success of BJP-supported candidates in the recently concluded Panchayat elections. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from party leaders, newly elected representatives, office bearers, and workers from across the Dharampur Assembly constituency.
The meeting was presided over by BJP Mandal President Lekh Raj Thakur. Former minister and senior BJP leader Thakur Mahender Singh, along with BJP State Executive Committee member and former BJP candidate from Dharampur Assembly constituency Rajat Thakur, attended the function as chief guests.
During the meeting, party leaders expressed satisfaction over the performance of BJP-backed candidates in the Panchayat elections and congratulated all the victorious representatives. Newly elected Panchayat Pradhans, Up-Pradhans, Panchayat Samiti members, Zila Parishad members, and party workers were felicitated for their success and contribution to strengthening the party at the grassroots level.
Addressing the gathering, BJP leaders said that the election results reflected the growing confidence of the people of Dharampur in the party’s policies and development-oriented approach. They stated that the success achieved at the Panchayat level would further strengthen the organization and provide a solid foundation for future electoral battles.

Speaking on the occasion, BJP State Executive Committee member Rajat Thakur claimed that BJP-supported candidates received overwhelming public support across the Dharampur region. According to him, BJP-backed candidates secured victory in three Zila Parishad seats, 13 Panchayat Samiti seats, and nearly 50 Panchayat Pradhan posts.
“This victory is the result of the hard work of party workers, the strength of the organization, and the trust reposed in us by the people,” Rajat Thakur said. He added that the Panchayat election results have sent a clear message that the people of the region support the politics of development, good governance, and public welfare.
He urged all newly elected representatives to live up to the expectations of the people and prioritize development works in their respective Panchayats. He emphasized that elected representatives should work with dedication and transparency to ensure balanced growth in rural areas.
Former minister Mahendra Singh Thakur congratulated all the victorious candidates and said that the mandate given by the people carries a great responsibility. He stressed that public service, transparency, and development should remain the top priorities of all elected representatives.
The meeting also saw party workers and leaders resolve to strengthen the BJP organization at the booth level and work towards ensuring a decisive victory for the party in the 2027 Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections. Leaders said that the momentum gained from the Panchayat polls would be utilized to expand the party’s outreach and effectively communicate welfare schemes and development initiatives to the people.
The event concluded on a positive note, with newly elected representatives expressing gratitude to the party leadership and assuring their commitment to working collectively for the development and welfare of the Dharampur region.
