Union Budget 2024-25 Receives Praise from BJP Spokesperson Rakesh Jamwal.

BJP chief spokesperson and Sundarnagar MLA Rakesh Jamwal has lauded the Union Budget 2024-25, presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, for its proactive measures aimed at achieving the goals of Atmanirbhar Bharat by 2047 under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership. Jamwal particularly commended the budget’s special provisions for Himachal Pradesh, emphasizing their potential to bolster the state’s resilience against natural disasters.
Sitharaman, who marked a milestone by presenting her seventh consecutive budget, earned accolades from Jamwal for the comprehensive attention given to sectors pivotal for national development. These include education, employment, agriculture, women’s empowerment, and youth welfare, all outlined under the theme ‘Developed India – Atmanirbhar Bharat’.
“This budget is a testament to economic empowerment and aims to fulfill the aspirations of 140 crore Indians,” remarked Jamwal, highlighting its significant allocations. The budget earmarks over Rs. 1.52 lakh crore for agricultural prosperity and ancillary sectors, and more than Rs. 3 lakh crore for initiatives advancing women’s empowerment. Moreover, substantial investments are earmarked to enhance resources and self-employment opportunities for the youth.
Jamwal underscored the budget’s strategic focus on critical sectors such as agriculture, tourism, and MSMEs, crucial contributors to the nation’s GDP and employment landscape. He concluded by emphasizing that the budget resonates with the principle of Antyodaya, promising boundless prospects for national development.
