Telangana tourist dies in a paraglider crash at Kullu in Himachal.

A female tourist hailing from Telangana has died during a paragliding activity kn Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh today.
The deceased was identified as Navya wife of Sai Mohan native of House number 173, Shilpa- B, Rundavana Colony Zahirabaad, district Sangareedi, of Telangana state.
According to the police, today during an unfortunate mishap, the victim suffered fatal injuries in a paragliding accident at Dobhi Paragliding Site in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh in daytime owing to which she died at the spot. She was accompanied by her husband.
“Autopsy of the body was conducted at regional hospital Kullu and the body has been handed over to the family members for last rites. In this context, an FIR has registered under section of 336,304 A IPC at Police Station Patlikuhal and the investigation is underway, the Police said.
District Tourism Development Officer Kullu Suneyana Sharma said that in an accident, which occured at Dobhi and death of a female pilot has occured, the pilot was registered and the equipment was approved. The accident occured due to harness failure and the site was registered.
She said that an enquiry has been ordered in the case and flying paragliding activity has been suspended in Dobhi site till further orders.
