CBI registers two more cases related postal recruitment scam in Himachal on allegations of securing jobs of Gramin Dak Sevak/ABPM, on fake educational documents and conducts searches at two places.

Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered two cases against the accused including then Gramin DakSevak/Assistant Branch Post Master (ABPM), posted in District Hamirpur and Bilaspur (Himachal Pradesh) respectively and unknown others on allegations of securing jobs by submitting forged/fake educational qualification documents.
According to official sources, these cases are in furtherance to two cases registered by CBI earlier in the matter of Postal Recruitment Scam involving allegations of securing these jobs by submitting forged/ fraudulent educational documents/ certificate, etc.
“It is alleged that said accused, in a conspiracy, had forged/got forged educational qualification documents and also used the same for selection as Gramin Dak Sevaks/Assistant Branch Post Masters in Postal Department in Himachal Pradesh. They allegedly, thus, drew salaries wrongfully and caused loss to the Postal Department” the sources said.
Today, searches were conducted by the CBI team at two places at the premises of both accused in district Bhiwani and Hisar in Haryana state and recovered some incriminating documents. Investigation is continuing going on.
