BJP’s Booth-Level Strength Will Be Key to Assembly Poll Victory, Says Rakesh Jamwal.
Shimla:
BJP Himachal Pradesh Chief Spokesperson and MLA Rakesh Jamwal today stressed that strong booth management would play a decisive role in the party’s performance in the upcoming Assembly elections. Addressing party workers during a training programme in Mandi district, he said the BJP’s greatest strength lies in its disciplined organisation and dedicated cadre working actively at the grassroots level.
Jamwal said elections are not won through slogans or public rallies alone but through meticulous planning, organisational discipline, and sustained engagement with voters at the booth level. He urged workers to strengthen every booth by maintaining regular contact with families and informing people about the Centre’s welfare schemes and the party’s ideology.
He said the BJP has emerged as the world’s largest political party because of its focus on empowering booth committees, panna pramukhs, Shakti Kendras, and mandal-level teams. According to him, coordinated efforts by these organisational units would ensure the party’s electoral success.
Describing the upcoming Assembly elections as crucial for Himachal Pradesh’s future, Jamwal contrasted the BJP’s development agenda under Prime Minister Narendra Modi with what he termed Congress’ record of “false promises and poor governance.” He asserted that booth management extends beyond polling day and includes year-round public outreach, beneficiary engagement, enrolment of new voters, and strengthening public trust.
Calling upon workers to transform every booth into a “Vijay Booth,” Jamwal emphasised regular meetings, detailed voter list analysis, and greater outreach among youth, women, and first-time voters. He expressed confidence that the BJP organisation across Himachal Pradesh was fully prepared for the elections and would secure a decisive majority through its strong grassroots network.
