DAV Mandi Student Ridhant Mandotra Wins Three Medals at State-Level Swimming Championship; Represents Himachal Pradesh at Nationals.

Ridhant Mandotra, a talented Class 9-C student of DAV Centenary Public School, Jawahar Nagar, Mandi, has brought laurels to his school and the region with an impressive performance in swimming at the state and national levels.
Ridhant showcased his exceptional swimming skills at the State-Level Swimming Tournament held at The Lawrence School, Sanawar, Dharampur (Solan), where he secured three medals in different events. He won the gold medal in the 100-metre breaststroke, followed by a silver medal in the 50-metre breaststroke and a bronze medal in the 4×50-metre Individual Medley event. His outstanding performance reflected his dedication, hard work and growing excellence in the sport.
Following his remarkable success at the state level, Ridhant earned the opportunity to represent Himachal Pradesh at the national level. He participated in the 42nd Sub-Junior National Aquatic Championship 2026, organised by the Rajasthan Swimming Association in Jaipur from August 6 to 9, 2026, under the aegis of the Swimming Federation of India.
Ridhant’s participation at the national championship marks another significant milestone in his sporting journey and demonstrates his potential to compete at higher levels. His achievements have generated a sense of pride among his teachers, fellow students and parents.
Expressing happiness over Ridhant’s achievements, DAV Centenary Public School Principal K. S. Guleria said that sports play a vital role in developing discipline, perseverance, hard work and a spirit of continuous improvement among students. He added that Ridhant’s success would inspire other students to pursue their sporting ambitions with dedication and confidence.
