Minor Molestation Case in Sundernagar: BJP Spokesperson Ajay Rana Demands Strict Action and Fair Investigation.

Tension has gripped Sundernagar town after a shocking incident of alleged molestation of a minor girl by a 38-year-old man came to light. The incident has sparked public outrage, with residents demanding strict action and accountability from the authorities.

According to reports, the accused had been frequently spotted over the past few days in a white Fortuner SUV around the Court area and along the lakefront—both busy public spots. Locals expressed deep concern over the growing presence of unidentified outsiders allegedly involved in suspicious activities in the region.

The case took a more serious turn after claims emerged that the complainant and her family were allegedly threatened inside and outside the police station. The allegations have prompted calls for a transparent and impartial investigation.

BJP spokesperson Ajay Rana condemned the incident in strong terms, calling it “highly shameful and unfortunate.” He stated,

“Molestation of a minor is a heinous act. Regardless of who the accused is, the strictest possible action should be taken against him. Justice must not be delayed or denied.”

Rana further urged the police to conduct an unbiased and speedy investigation to ensure that the victim gets justice. He also called upon the local administration to verify the identity of outsiders living or frequently visiting the town and to keep close surveillance on suspicious movements and illegal activities.

Emphasizing community cooperation, he appealed to residents to remain alert, avoid spreading misinformation, and assist the police in maintaining law and order.

The case has stirred widespread concern across Sundernagar, with citizens demanding not only swift justice for the victim but also stricter monitoring mechanisms to prevent such incidents in the future.
