Press Club Mandi Holds Condolence Meeting for Deceased Journalists.

The Press Club Mandi organized a solemn condolence meeting to honor the memory of Shimla based senior journalists Gaurav Bisht, Vipin Kala, Anand Bodh and Kullu based senior journalists Daulat Bharti, Sumit Chauhan, and Dr. Ramesh, who passed away recently. The gathering observed two minutes of silence to pay tribute to the departed souls and extended heartfelt condolences to their families.

Senior journalist Birbal Sharma expressed the gravity of the loss, emphasizing that the deceased had yet to achieve many more milestones in journalism. Senior journalist Dipender Manta highlighted Gaurav Bisht’s pivotal role in his own career development, noting the significant impact of his mentorship. District Public Relations Officer Hemant Kumar remembered working with the journalists and praised their maturity, honesty, and dedication.

Press Club President Murari Sharma reflected on the substantial loss to both their institutions and the wider society. He underscored the long years of experience required to reach the level of expertise that the deceased had achieved, reinforcing the void left by their passing.

The meeting was attended by Subhash Thakur, Editor Amar Jwala (Weekly) Press Club Mandi General Secretary Hansraj Saini, senior journalists Dipender Manta, Purushottam Sharma, Narender Sharma, Khemchand Shastri, Dharamchand Verma, Rajneesh Himalayan, Surender Sharma, Rajesh Punchhi, Anil Sharma, Vinod Rana, Sonia Sharma, Saroj Thakur, Diksha Thakur, KC Panjala, Pushp Raj, Hansraj, Rakesh Sharma, Ashwini and Yugal Kishore, who collectively mourned the significant loss to the field of journalism.
