Senior BJP leader and former minister Govind Singh Thakur, along with BJP Himachal Pradesh President Dr Rajeev Bindal, reviewed preparations for the proposed programme of Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda, scheduled for October 11 at the Patlikuhal Mela Ground in Manali.

Thakur said preparations for the event were progressing at a rapid pace to ensure that the programme was organised successfully on a grand scale. During the visit, the leaders took stock of the arrangements and discussed measures required for the smooth conduct of the event.

Appealing to the people of the Manali Assembly constituency and BJP workers, Thakur urged them to participate in the programme in large numbers and contribute to making it a grand success.

He emphasised the importance of active participation by party workers and local residents in welcoming the senior national leader to the region.

The proposed visit of Nadda is expected to bring together BJP leaders, party workers and supporters from Manali and adjoining areas.

Thakur expressed confidence that collective efforts by party workers would ensure the successful organisation of the programme at Patlikuhal Mela Ground on October 11.

The final arrangements are being coordinated to facilitate the expected gathering and ensure the smooth management of the event.
