Manali Marathon 2.0 Achieves Record-Breaking Success Amidst the Majestic Himalayas.

The Manali Marathon 2.0, held on Sunday, concluded with remarkable success, reinforcing its status as one of India’s top running events. The marathon attracted over 659 participants, including 200 runners from across India and 45 international athletes from five countries.

The event featured various race distances, including a 5K, 10K, Half Marathon (21.1K), Full Marathon (42.2K), and an Ultra Marathon (100K). Runners traversed a scenic yet challenging route that showcased Manali’s breathtaking landscapes, culminating at the iconic Rohtang Pass. Notably, Rigzin from Ladakh set a new record in the Rohtang Pass Ultra Challenge 100K, finishing with an impressive time of 11 hours.

The organizers expressed their excitement, stating, “Manali Marathon 2.0 surpassed our expectations. We’re thrilled to see the running community come together, pushing boundaries and promoting a healthy lifestyle. Our gratitude to participants, sponsors, volunteers, and local authorities for their unwavering support.”

Winners were awarded medals, trophies, and cash prizes, with special recognition for the Best Local Runner and an Inspirational Runner award. The marathon not only promoted tourism and economic growth in Manali but also encouraged healthy living and fitness among locals and visitors, fostering community engagement and cultural exchange.

Looking ahead, the spokesperson for the event announced that dates for Manali Marathon 3.0 will be announced soon.
