Indian Navy to Showcase Grand Operational Demonstration at RK Beach, Visakhapatnam.

The Indian Navy is gearing up to present an awe-inspiring Operational Demonstration on January 4, 2025, at RK Beach, Visakhapatnam. This spectacular event, set against the backdrop of the scenic coastline, will feature cutting-edge naval capabilities, with a focus on strengthening ties between the Navy and the citizens of Andhra Pradesh.

The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N Chandrababu Naidu, will grace the event as the Chief Guest, while Vice Admiral Rajesh Pendharkar, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Eastern Naval Command (ENC), will host the occasion. The demonstration, part of the Eastern Naval Command’s annual flagship outreach program, will underline the Navy’s commitment to safeguarding the nation’s maritime interests.

Spectators can look forward to a thrilling array of activities, including high-speed manoeuvres by various warships, flying operations by fighter jets and maritime aircraft, and helicopter demonstrations. Marine Commandos (MARCOS) will also showcase their skills through live slithering operations, combat free falls, and an amphibious assault.

Adding to the grandeur will be a unique Horn Pipe Dance by the Sea Cadets Corps of Visakhapatnam, and the ceremonial Beating Retreat by the ENC Band.

According to official sources, preliminary rehearsals for the event are set for December 28-29, with final rehearsals scheduled for January 2, 2025. The public is invited to attend these rehearsals at RK Beach to experience a preview of the main event.
