Abhilashi Ayurvedic College Wins Second Prize for Completing 60,000 Prakriti Assessments.

Abhilashi Ayurvedic College, a prominent institution under Abhilashi University, has been awarded the prestigious second prize by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, for its exceptional contribution to the National Prakriti Assessment Campaign. The college secured the second spot at the national level and proudly claimed first place in Himachal Pradesh for completing a remarkable 60,000 Prakriti assessments.
The award was presented during a grand ceremony held in Mumbai, where Union Minister of AYUSH, Pratap Rao Jadhav, commended the institution for its outstanding efforts in promoting Ayurveda and its holistic approach to health. Dr. Divya Deepak, Principal of Abhilashi Ayurvedic College & Research Institute, expressed her gratitude to the faculty, non-teaching staff, and students for their dedication to this achievement.
The Prakriti assessment campaign, initiated by the Ministry of AYUSH, is aimed at helping individuals understand their physical and mental constitution to adopt a healthier lifestyle. With more than 4.7 lakh volunteers actively participating across the country, the campaign has significantly raised awareness about Ayurveda and its role in improving overall well-being.
Union Minister Pratap Rao Jadhav emphasized the campaign’s importance in making Ayurveda a part of everyday life. He stated that it is helping millions of people understand their body types and promoting Ayurveda in every household, furthering the government’s vision of integrating traditional Indian medicine into mainstream healthcare.
The ceremony was a moment of pride for Abhilashi Ayurvedic College as several leaders from the institution were present to celebrate the accomplishment. Dr. R.K. Abhilashi (Chancellor, Abhilashi University), Dr. L.K. Abhilashi (Pro-Chancellor), Professor H.K. Chaudhary (Vice-Chancellor), Dr. Kapil Kapoor (Registrar), Dr. Narvada Abhilashi (Chairperson, Genius Education Society), Dr. Promila Abhilashi (Vice-Chairperson, Abhilashi Education Society), Secretary Narender Kumar, and Dean Dr. D.K. Mishra congratulated the college’s faculty, students, and staff for their efforts in the successful completion of the assessments.
