Raja Singh Malhotra, a young BJP leader, philanthropist and successful entrepreneur of Mandi city, has been elected as the Vice President of the Himachal Hockey Federation today. The elections were held today in Hamirpur, where the entire executive committee was elected unanimously. Ranbir Singh Nikka, the MLA from Nurpur, was elected as the President, while Raja Singh Malhotra was entrusted with the responsibility of Vice President.
Expressing his gratitude, the close aide of BJP stalwart leader and former Union Minister Anurag Singh Thakur, Raja Singh Malhotra thanked all the office bearers, members of the Hockey Federation, and Member of Parliament Anurag Thakur for electing him to this important position. He assured that he would strive to fulfill his duties with dedication and work towards the growth of hockey in Himachal Pradesh. Malhotra emphasized his commitment to bringing more youth into the sport across all districts of Himachal Pradesh, as well as providing players with better facilities.
Raja Singh Malhotra has been associated with the Himachal Hockey Federation for a long time. Prior to this, he served as the Treasurer of the association for 8 years and performed his duties with great dedication. Currently, he also holds the position of President of the Mandi District Hockey Federation. After being elected as Vice President, Raja Singh visited the residence of former Chief Minister Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, in Hamirpur to seek his blessings and guidance.
