CCRH and Adamas University Sign MoU to Propel Homoeopathy Research and Innovation.

In a landmark development for the field of alternative medicine, the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH), New Delhi, and Adamas University, Kolkata, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at advancing research in Homoeopathy. The agreement was officially signed on 1st March 2025 by Dr. Subhash Kaushik, Director General of CCRH, and Prof. Suranjan Das, Vice-Chancellor of Adamas University, in the presence of Nobel Laureate Sir Gregory Paul Winter and Dr. Samit Ray, Chancellor of Adamas University.

The MoU is being hailed as a significant milestone in interdisciplinary research and is expected to pave the way for a new era of scientific advancements in Homoeopathy. The partnership will focus on knowledge exchange, collaborative research initiatives, and the development of innovative solutions for integrating Homoeopathy into mainstream healthcare systems.

Dr. Kaushik, in his remarks, emphasized the importance of this collaboration in enhancing the evidence-based research of Homoeopathy, a field that has long been regarded as an alternative medical approach. He noted that the joint efforts would enable both institutions to work closely on a variety of research projects that could lead to significant improvements in patient care and treatment options.

Prof. Suranjan Das expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration, highlighting Adamas University’s commitment to advancing the frontiers of medical science through interdisciplinary research. He added that the university’s expertise in science and technology would complement CCRH’s expertise in Homoeopathy, creating an environment conducive to cutting-edge research.

The MoU will enable both institutions to strengthen academic ties, facilitate joint research ventures, and explore new avenues for evidence-based studies in Homoeopathy. This collaboration is expected to foster greater acceptance of Homoeopathy as a credible and scientifically-backed medical practice, expanding its role in holistic healthcare.

The Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy, operating under the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, is an apex research body that conducts critical research in Homoeopathy. CCRH has been instrumental in promoting scientific studies in Homoeopathy and regularly collaborates with national and international research organizations to further its research initiatives.

With this partnership, both CCRH and Adamas University are poised to make significant strides toward the scientific validation of Homoeopathy, bringing the potential of this alternative medicine to the forefront of modern healthcare practices.
