CM Dedicates Developmental Projects Worth Rs. 43.64 Crore in Sujanpur Assembly Constituency.

In a major boost to the development of the Sujanpur Assembly constituency in Hamirpur district, Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 10 significant development projects worth Rs. 43.64 crore. These projects are expected to transform the region’s infrastructure, education, healthcare, and basic amenities.
The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for the Rajiv Gandhi Model Day Boarding School at Karot, which will be built at an estimated cost of Rs. 20.18 crore. This project aims to provide quality education and a modern learning environment for students in the region.
Among the key inaugurations was the lift water supply scheme at Salghuoon Ghatta in Gram Panchayat Karot, constructed at a cost of Rs. 1.42 crore. This scheme is expected to significantly improve the water supply in the area. Additionally, the CM inaugurated the additional accommodation and library hall in Government Senior Secondary School Kuthera, a project worth Rs. 86 lakh, aimed at enhancing the learning facilities for students.
A significant development for healthcare in the region was the inauguration of Rs. 1.78 crore residences for doctors at the Community Health Center (CHC) in Sujanpur Tihra. This was followed by the inauguration of Rs. 1.42 crore government quarters for para-medical staff at the same health center. The CM also inaugurated a Rs. 1.25 crore science lab at the Government Senior Secondary School Pounch to boost scientific education for students.
The Chief Minister also laid the foundation for several infrastructure projects, including:
- Sujanpur Bus Stand at Ward No. 4 Doli, to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 5.45 crore.
- A crucial link road from Bakkar Khud to village Thalamber in G.P. Bherda, worth Rs. 8.37 crore.
- A lift water supply scheme for multiple villages at Chabutra in Tehsil Sujanpur, costing Rs. 24 lakh.
- A vital link road from Puyad to Tikkari via Dharli, worth Rs. 2.67 crore.
Speaking at the event, CM Sukhu emphasized that these development initiatives would be a game-changer for the people of Sujanpur, providing them with much-needed improvements in education, healthcare, infrastructure, and essential services. He expressed confidence that these projects would significantly enhance the quality of life for the residents of the region.
MLA Captain Ranjeet Singh Rana also expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister for dedicating these crucial projects to the public. He thanked the CM for his ongoing support and commitment to the development of the Sujanpur Assembly constituency, which will see a substantial boost in infrastructure and public welfare.
