India Launches ‘Operation Sindoor’: Precision Strikes Hit Terror Camps After Pahalgam Attack.

New Delhi:

In a decisive move against cross-border terrorism, the Indian Armed Forces carried out a series of precision strikes early Wednesday under Operation Sindoor, targeting terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK).

According to official sources, a total of nine sites used for terror planning and operations against India were hit in a focused, non-escalatory operation. Notably, no Pakistani military installations were targeted, highlighting India’s calibrated approach.

The strikes come in response to the recent Pahalgam terrorist attack, which claimed the lives of 25 Indian citizens and one Nepali national. The government stated that the operation underscores India’s commitment to ensuring that perpetrators of such barbaric acts are brought to justice.

Officials described the action as a demonstration of restraint and precision, aimed squarely at neutralizing the terror infrastructure without provoking wider conflict. A comprehensive briefing on the operation is expected later today.
