Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has extended his heartfelt felicitations to Kritika Sharma, the youngest Everester from the state, who successfully conquered the world’s highest peak—Mount Everest—at the age of just 17.

Hailing from the Sirmaur district, Kritika is a cadet of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) and has brought immense pride not only to Himachal Pradesh but to the entire nation with her extraordinary feat.

In his congratulatory message, CM Sukhu praised Kritika’s determination, courage, and perseverance. “Her accomplishment is a shining example of what strong will power and dedication can achieve. She has set a high benchmark for the youth of our state and become a source of inspiration for adventure sports enthusiasts,” he said.

Highlighting her achievement as a motivational tale, the Chief Minister added, “Kritika has truly proven that ‘where there is a will, there is a way.’ No challenge is too great when one is committed to overcome obstacles.”

The Chief Minister also extended his best wishes to Kritika and her entire expedition team, lauding their success and wishing them continued achievements in their future endeavours.

Kritika Sharma’s achievement is being celebrated across the state as a milestone for young adventurers and a proud moment for Himachal Pradesh’s growing legacy in mountaineering and outdoor sports.
