450 NCC Cadets Undergo Intensive 10-Day Training Camp at IIT Mandi, Hosted by 1 HP Air Squadron NCC.

The 1 HP Air Squadron NCC, Kullu is conducting a 10-day Annual Training Camp (ATC-192) at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kamand, Mandi, beginning June 17, 2025, with the full administrative support of IIT Mandi.
A total of 450 Air Wing NCC cadets from 14 schools and 2 colleges across Himachal Pradesh are participating in this rigorous and structured training camp. These cadets are part of NCC Air Wing flights and troops functioning in educational institutions throughout the state.
As shared by Wing Commander Kunal Sharma, Commanding Officer of 1 HP Air Squadron NCC and Camp Commandant of ATC-192, the cadets are undergoing training in a wide range of disciplines including Drill, Sports, Weapon Training, Firing, Aero Modelling, Guest Lectures, and Cultural Competitions. The camp is designed to instill discipline, leadership skills, patriotism, teamwork, and camaraderie among the participating cadets.
Importantly, this camp also serves as a selection platform for prestigious national-level events, such as the Pre-Vayu Sainik Camp and the Republic Day Camp.
The camp is scheduled to conclude on June 26, 2025.
Wing Commander Sharma expressed sincere gratitude to the Director and administrative staff of IIT Mandi for their generous support and collaboration in hosting this important training initiative at their campus.
