CM Sukhu Dedicates Rs. 36 Crore Development Projects in Nagrota Bagwan of Kangra.

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Monday dedicated and laid foundation stones for development projects worth Rs. 36 crore in the Nagrota Bagwan assembly constituency during his tour of the Kangra district. The projects span key infrastructure improvements, including roads, bridges, fire safety, and electrical upgrades, aimed at enhancing connectivity and public services in the region.

CM Sukhu inaugurated a Rs. 3.10 crore Fire Post building in Nagrota Bagwan, significantly boosting emergency response infrastructure in the area. Among other major inaugurations was the Rs. 4.80 crore road project from Malan to Gujrehra Pathiar and Sakrehar, which will improve rural connectivity.

He also inaugurated the Rs. 4.84 crore metalling and tarring of the Kharat-Jandrah-Aerla-Ropa-Kardiana road, and the Rs. 3.47 crore bridge constructed over Dharoon Khad to connect village Kaled with Kari Da Bag, providing vital transport links for the local population.

In addition to these completed projects, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for a Rs. 9.56 crore road project from Rangehar Sadoon Malmu to Nera, which includes the construction of a bridge over Nera Khad. Another foundation stone was laid for Rs. 10 crore worth of electrical infrastructure development in the Nagrota Bagwan area, which is expected to strengthen power supply and grid reliability.

On his arrival, CM Sukhu was greeted with a grand welcome by local residents, reflecting strong public support for his development initiatives.

Accompanying the Chief Minister were Ayush Minister Yadvinder Goma, H.P. Tourism Development Corporation Chairman R.S. Bali, MLAs Sanjay Awasthi and Kamlesh Thakur, and HRTC Vice Chairman Ajay Verma.

The visit highlights the state government’s focus on balanced regional development and its continued investment in infrastructure to uplift both urban and rural communities in Himachal Pradesh.
