Justice Rajiv Shakdher Sworn in as Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court.

Justice Rajiv Shakdher was sworn in as the Chief Justice of the Himachal Pradesh High Court during a ceremony held at Raj Bhawan on Wednesday. The oath of office was administered by Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla, with several dignitaries in attendance.
Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena conducted the proceedings and read the Warrant of Appointment issued by the President of India.
Justice Shakdher, born on October 19, 1962, holds a B.Com (Hons.), CA, and LL.B. degrees. He was enrolled as an advocate on November 19, 1987, and has built a robust practice in civil, constitutional, taxation, and corporate law in both the Delhi High Court and the Supreme Court of India.
He was appointed as an Additional Judge of the Delhi High Court on April 11, 2008, and became a permanent judge on October 17, 2011. Following a transfer, he served at the Madras High Court starting April 11, 2016, before returning to the Delhi High Court on January 15, 2018.
