The 11th National Handloom Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and pride at the Bhuttico Auditorium, under the aegis of the Weaver Service Centre (Shamshi) and the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India on Friday August 8 in Kullu district. The event witnessed the active participation of hundreds of weavers and employees from across the region, reaffirming the cultural and economic importance of the handloom industry in Himachal Pradesh.

Former Minister and President of Bhuttico, Satya Prakash Thakur, graced the occasion as the chief guest.
