In a remarkable blend of devotion and social service, the Press Club Mandi organized a Kheer Bhandara on the auspicious occasion of Sawan, showcasing a spiritual gesture that resonated deeply with the people of the city. The event saw active participation from journalists, administration officials, and local residents, reinforcing the idea that media professionals are not just conveyors of news but also dedicated contributors to community welfare.

Deputy Commissioner Apoorv Devgan, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, personally served kheer to devotees and appreciated the club’s efforts. Speaking at the event, he said, “Such events during the holy month of Sawan are symbols of devotion and faith. It is heartening to see that journalists are playing a vital role in community service alongside their professional responsibilities in media.”
