Sardar Patel University Mandi releases the complete schedule of entrance test for 18 PG/UG courses, which will be held from June 9 to 19.

Sardar Patel University (SPU) Mandi has released the complete schedule of entrance test for PG/UG courses today. According to this schedule, a total of 18 entrance tests will be taken from June 9 to 19.
According to the University administration, these entrance tests will be conducted with complete transparency. Students will also be given admission in various courses on the basis of entrance tests.
Under this schedule, the first entrance test has been fixed for B.Ed on June 9.
Addressing a press conference here today, Pro Vice Chancellor of SPU, Dr. Anupama Singh said that the university is continuously progressing. This time the university is going to conduct the entrance tests for 18 UG/PG courses. For this, the university has released schedule today.
“According to the schedule, entrance tests will be conducted from June 9 to 19. Time and dates have been fixed for this. The portal of university will be made operational for submission of forms for entrance tests on May 6. Students can apply online for the entrance test. There are 46 colleges affiliated with the university, of which includes 18 B.Ed and three Sanskrit colleges” said Anupama.
“The last date for the submission of entrance test form has been fixed as May 27. A student can apply for different courses at a time, if he wants for which he will have to pay fees for different courses” said Pro VC.
Pro VC said that the university is conducting entrance test for B.Ed., MBA, MTTM, BCA, MCA, BBA, PGDCA, MA English, MA Hindi, M.Sc. Zoology, M.Sc. Mathematics, M.Sc. Botany, M.Com, M.Sc. Chemistry, MA Political Science, M.Sc. Physics, MA History and MA Economics courses.
Referring to her achievements, the Pro VC said that “this university has achieved new milestones in the the last two years after its establishment by the state government. The university received a grant of about Rs 20 crore under RUSA. There is financial constraints because this university receive Rs. 10 crore budget for its functioning, while Himachal Pradesh University Shimla receive Rs. 150 crore annually. There is a shortage of staff. Despite all that a suitable environment has been created for the studies of the students.”
“Efforts are on to start professional courses in this university in the coming time” she added.
