Spiritual Upliftment Essential for Holistic Development of Women: Sister Shweta.

Shimla:

A large-scale women’s spiritual congregation was organized today at the Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Dadour, in Mandi district, where women from around 40 branches of the Sant Nirankari Mission across various districts actively participated. The event highlighted the importance of spiritual upliftment in the holistic development of women and emphasized their vital role in shaping a peaceful and value-based society.

The special gathering was graced by Sister Shweta from Khanna, Punjab, who conveyed the message of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj, the present spiritual head of the Sant Nirankari Mission. Addressing the attendees, Sister Shweta emphasized that true transformation in action begins with a change in thought, and such positive thoughts arise through spiritual gatherings (Satsang). She said, “Spirituality strengthens the foundation of good thoughts, which in turn lays the groundwork for a purposeful and peaceful life.”

Sister Shweta stressed the need for women to stay connected with the Supreme Power — the source of peace, love, and joy — through the guidance of a living spiritual master. “The path to inner peace and social harmony lies in aligning our lives with divine wisdom, which is made possible by seeking refuge in the True Master,” she said.

She further highlighted that women are progressing in every sphere today — from family responsibilities to professional achievements — and spirituality can serve as the thread that binds their inner and outer worlds in harmony. “Through the Sant Nirankari Mission, women are being empowered not just socially and emotionally, but spiritually as well. This triple empowerment leads to the overall upliftment of families and communities,” she added.

Special Emphasis on Women-Centric Spiritual Events

One of the distinctive features of the Sant Nirankari Mission is its focus on women-centric spiritual events. The Mission regularly organizes Mahila Samagams (Women’s Congregations) that offer a platform for women to express themselves spiritually, develop leadership skills, and gain deeper insights into leading a meaningful life. Sister Shweta reiterated Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj’s belief: “When a woman is cultured and spiritually awakened, the whole family becomes cultured.”

Leadership and Acknowledgement

The event witnessed the presence of several dignitaries and mission coordinators. Zonal In-charge of Mandi Zone, R.K. Abhilashi, warmly welcomed and thanked Sister Shweta for her inspirational address. He also expressed gratitude towards Regional Director Bhagat Ram, Convenor Prem Das, Dadour Branch Head Shiv Lal Chaudhary, and all other branch coordinators, female in-charges, and sisters who participated in the program.

In his concluding remarks, Dr. RK Abhilashi underlined the increasing relevance of such spiritual events in today’s context. “As society becomes more complex, the need for inner stability, values, and unity becomes more crucial. Programs like these are not just spiritual gatherings; they are catalysts for positive societal change,” he said.

A Path Forward

The Sant Nirankari Mission continues to inspire individuals, especially women, to lead lives filled with love, humility, and spiritual awareness. Through such initiatives, the Mission reaffirms its commitment to building a harmonious world based on the principles of universal brotherhood, peace, and oneness with God.
