Hockey Association Himachal Vice President Raja Singh Malhotra Distributes Ration at Bal Ashram, Announces Sports Kits for Children on BJP MP Anurag Thakur’s Birthday.

In a heartwarming gesture to mark the birthday of former Union Minister and Member of Parliament from Hamirpur, Anurag Thakur, Hockey Association Himachal Vice President and Mandi District Hockey Association President Raja Singh Malhotra visited Bal Ashram and distributed essential ration items among the children in Mandi.

During the occasion, Malhotra announced that sports kits — including track suits and shoes — will be provided to 25 children of the Ashram to encourage them to participate in sports and enhance their athletic skills.

Speaking on the occasion, Raja Singh Malhotra said it was a great honor for him to celebrate Anurag Thakur’s birthday by serving the children of Bal Ashram. “This is not just an act of charity but a step toward promoting sports and fitness among underprivileged children. We want them to dream big and develop their skills through sports,” he said.

He emphasized that the Hockey Association is continuously working to promote sports across Himachal Pradesh, and such initiatives are part of their broader mission to identify and nurture young talent.

The children at Bal Ashram expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Raja Singh Malhotra for his thoughtful contribution. They said that the sports kits would motivate them to take active interest in physical activities and improve their sporting abilities.
