Devbhoomi Library Inaugurated in Chhoti Kashi.
A 24×7 Study Hub with Modern Facilities for 108 Students.

A new chapter in the academic landscape of Chhoti Kashi, Mandi, began with the formal inauguration of Devbhoomi Library on Wednesday. The initiative aims to promote education and provide a peaceful environment for students and knowledge-seekers in the city. The library was inaugurated by Raja Singh Malhotra, founder of Soch Foundation and noted social worker, in the presence of several dignitaries and community members.
Speaking on the occasion, Raja Singh Malhotra congratulated S.S. Thakur, the founder of Devbhoomi Library, and his entire team for their commendable effort. He said that the library would play a loading role in uplifting the educational standards of Chhoti Kashi. “Choosing a calm location in the heart of the city’s School Bazaar and transforming it into a modern library is a remarkable initiative,” he said, urging students and youth to take full advantage of this facility.
Founder S.S. Thakur shared that the library has seating arrangements for 108 readers at a time, with each reader provided a separate study cabin. Every cabin is equipped with a power outlet and sufficient space for laptops and study materials. The library offers an array of modern amenities including books, computers, internet access, newspapers, magazines, CCTV surveillance, Wi-Fi, clean drinking water, and well-maintained washrooms.
A standout feature of the Devbhoomi Library is that it will remain open 24 hours a day, allowing students to study at their convenience, day or night.
Several eminent personalities, including social media influencer Rohit Saklani, Natraj Dance Academy MD Pawan, and Gopal, were also present at the inauguration ceremony.
The establishment of the Devbhoomi Library marks a significant step toward building a stronger academic culture in Mandi and reflects the community’s commitment to education and youth empowerment.
