Congress Foundation Day Celebrated in Seraj Mandi, Jagdish Reddy Reaffirms Commitment to Constitution and Democratic Values.

The Foundation Day of the Indian National Congress was celebrated with enthusiasm at Dharotdhar in Seraj assembly constituency of Mandi district today. On the occasion, Congress leader Jagdish Reddy extended heartfelt greetings to all Congress workers and paid tribute to the party’s rich historical legacy.

Addressing the gathering, Jagdish Reddy said that the Congress is not merely a political party but the voice of India’s soul. He remembered and honoured the great freedom fighters and martyrs whose sacrifices led India to independence and laid the foundation of the Constitution, strengthening the core values of democracy, secularism, social justice and equality.

He emphasized that the Congress has always stood with the weak, the marginalized and the working class, and will continue to fight for their rights. Reiterating the party’s resolve, Reddy stated that the Congress remains committed to waging a stronger struggle to protect truth, courage and the Constitution against hatred, injustice and authoritarianism.

The Foundation Day programme witnessed the presence of Congress leaders, party workers and local supporters, who collectively reaffirmed their dedication to safeguarding India’s unity and democratic ethos.

The event concluded with slogans of “Jai Hind” and “Jai Congress,” reflecting renewed energy and determination among party workers in the region.
