Himachal CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu’s Budget Receives Praise for Emphasis on Socio-Economic Development.

Former Chief Parliamentary Secretary and Senior Vice President of the Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee, Sohan Lal Thakur, praised Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu for presenting a budget focused on the state’s comprehensive development. Thakur highlighted that the budget prioritizes socio-economic growth, education, health, agriculture, tourism, infrastructure, and employment generation, aiming to uplift marginalized groups such as the poor, farmers, women, youth, and underprivileged classes.

Thakur described the budget as a significant step toward the state’s sustainable and inclusive development, emphasizing the welfare of the general public. He expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister, stating, “This budget presents a strong roadmap for the state’s future, with a focus on uplifting the most vulnerable segments of society.”
Congress leader from Seraj, Jagdish Reddy, also extended his appreciation for the budget, particularly thanking CM Sukhu for approving the budget for the establishment of a Day Boarding school in Seraj. Reddy noted that the approval of the school would significantly benefit the students in the region by improving access to quality education.

The budget, which has been hailed as historic, underscores the state government’s commitment to ensuring the well-being and development of every section of society, with a focus on long-term growth and welfare.
