Dorje Angrup Appointed President of District Congress Committee Lahaul and Spiti.

The Congress Party high command has appointed Dorje Angrup as the President of the District Congress Committee (DCC) Lahaul and Spiti with the objective of strengthening the party’s organizational base in the tribal district.
Expressing his gratitude on the occasion, Dorje Angrup thanked Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC) President Vinay Kumar, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, and Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri for reposing faith in him and assigning this important responsibility. He also conveyed his sincere thanks to Lahaul and Spiti MLA Anuradha Rana and the party workers of the district for their continued support and encouragement.
Addressing party leaders and workers, Angrup assured them that he would work with full dedication, honesty, and commitment to strengthen the Congress Party in Lahaul and Spiti. He emphasized the importance of unity, grassroots-level engagement, and effective communication of the party’s policies to the people of the district. “I will do my best to reinforce the party organization and work collectively with all workers to serve the people,” he said.
Lahaul and Spiti MLA Anuradha Rana congratulated Dorje Angrup on his appointment and expressed confidence that his leadership would further energize the party cadre in the district. District Council Lahaul and Spiti Chairman Veena Devi, along with several senior local leaders and party workers, also extended their congratulations and best wishes.
The appointment is being seen as a significant step towards consolidating the Congress Party’s presence in the strategically important tribal district ahead of future political challenges.
