Public Works and Urban Development Minister Vikramaditya Singh attended the third cultural evening of the seven-day International Shivratri Festival being celebrated in Mandi from February 16 to 22. He participated in the event as the Chief Guest, adding prominence to the ongoing festivities.

 

The cultural programme was organized at the historic Seri Stage, where the minister was accorded a traditional welcome upon his arrival. He was received by the President of the Festival General House and MLA Chander Shekhar, along with Deputy Commissioner Apoorv Devgan.

On the occasion, several prominent personalities were also present and honored. These included MLA Chander Shekhar, former minister Prakash Chaudhary, Vice Chairman of the Water Management Board Shashi Sharma, District Congress Committee President Champa Thakur, and former candidate Naresh Chauhan. Deputy Commissioner Apoorv Devgan felicitated them during the ceremony.

The International Shivratri Festival in Mandi is a major cultural and religious event that showcases the region’s rich traditions, devotional heritage, and vibrant artistic performances. The third cultural evening witnessed enthusiastic participation from artists and audiences alike, further enhancing the festive spirit in the historic town.
