Anurag Sharma from Congress party Files Nomination for Rajya Sabha Seat in Himachal Pradesh.

Anurag Sharma from Congress party on Thursday filed his nomination papers for the upcoming Rajya Sabha election at the Secretariat of the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly in Shimla.
The nomination was filed in the presence of Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, who extended his support to the Congress candidate. The occasion witnessed the presence of several senior leaders of the ruling party and members of the state government.
Among those present were Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, Speaker of the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Kuldeep Singh Pathania, and President of the Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee Vinay Kumar.
Co-incharges for the state affairs of the Indian National Congress, Vidit Chaudhary and Chetan Chauhan, were also present during the filing of the nomination papers. Several cabinet ministers, Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs), and other party dignitaries attended the event to show their support for the candidate.
Speaking on the occasion, party leaders expressed confidence in Sharma’s candidature and stated that the Congress party remains united in strengthening its representation in the Rajya Sabha. They emphasized that the party leadership and legislators are fully backing the candidate for the upcoming election.
The Rajya Sabha election from Himachal Pradesh is expected to draw significant political attention as parties finalize their candidates and strategies ahead of the polling process.
