RS Bali Graces Suket Devta Fair in Sundernagar, Celebrates Cultural Heritage.

On the auspicious occasion of the Suket Devta Fair at Sundernagar in Mandi district, R.S. Bali, Chairman of the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC), was warmly welcomed and felicitated by local leaders and residents upon his arrival in Sundernagar yesterday.

The event, celebrated as a vibrant symbol of Sundernagar’s rich cultural heritage, featured the traditional Suket Devta procession, with devotees and locals participating in the colorful festivities. Bali joined the ceremonial activities, appreciating the fair’s historical significance and the efforts of the community in preserving their cultural traditions.

A senior Congress leader and former Chief Parliamentary Secretary from Sundernagar Sohan Lal Thakur expressed heartfelt gratitude to Bali for honoring the fair with his presence, saying his participation added dignity and prominence to the event.

Extending warm wishes to the people of Sundernagar, the Thakur prayed for the continued blessings of the deities visiting during the fair, urging that their guidance and protection remain with the local community.

Thakur stated that the Suket Devta Fair continues to be a key cultural and religious celebration in the region, drawing devotees and tourists alike, showcasing Himachal Pradesh’s rich traditions and communal harmony.
