BJP MLA Praises Centre’s Rs. 3,920 Crore Aid to Himachal Amid Financial Strain.

Prakash Rana, BJP MLA from Jogindernagar in Mandi district has lauded the Central government for extending financial assistance of Rs. 3,920 crore to Himachal Pradesh under the “Pride of Hills” scheme, calling it a crucial step in addressing the state’s ongoing economic challenges.
In a statement, the MLA emphasized that true leadership is demonstrated during times of crisis, and credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for standing firmly with the people of Himachal Pradesh. He described the financial package as “timely and commendable,” noting that the hill state is currently grappling with fiscal stress.
The BJP leader expressed gratitude on behalf of the people of Himachal Pradesh and said the assistance could significantly improve the state’s financial condition if utilized effectively. However, he also raised concerns over the role of the current Congress-led state government, urging it to ensure transparency and proper use of the funds.
“The aid will only yield results if it is directed toward development and welfare initiatives without mismanagement,” he added.
The statement comes amid ongoing political exchanges between the BJP and Congress over governance and financial management in the state.
