Melania Trump Denies Any Association with Jeffrey Epstein, Calls for Congressional Hearings on Victims.

Washington, D.C.:

In a strongly worded public statement, First Lady Melania Trump has categorically denied any personal or professional association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, rejecting what she described as “mean-spirited attempts” to damage her reputation.

Addressing ongoing speculation and online claims, Melania Trump stated that she had “never been friends with Epstein” and clarified that any encounters occurred only in shared social settings in New York City and Palm Beach—circles she described as commonly overlapping among public figures.

She also firmly denied any relationship with Epstein’s associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, explaining that a previously referenced email exchange was merely “casual correspondence” and “a trivial note.”

Trump emphasized that she was neither a victim nor a participant in any of Epstein’s criminal activities. “I was never on Epstein’s plane, never visited his private island, and had no knowledge of his abuse,” she said. She further asserted that her name has never appeared in any official documents, including court filings, victim statements, or FBI interviews related to the case.

Clarifying her personal history, Melania Trump  noted that she met her husband, Donald Trump, in 1998 at a New York City event—an encounter she says is documented in her memoir. She added that her first meeting with Epstein occurred later, in 2000, at a social event attended alongside her husband.

The First Lady also addressed what she called “numerous fake images and statements” circulating online, urging the public to be cautious about misinformation. She stated that her legal team has successfully pursued action against several individuals and organizations over defamatory claims, resulting in public apologies and retractions.

Beyond her personal defense, Melania Trump used the statement to call for broader accountability. She urged Congress to conduct public hearings focused on survivors of Epstein’s crimes, advocating for sworn testimony to be entered into the Congressional Record.

“Each and every woman should have her day to tell her story in public, if she wishes,” she said, emphasizing the importance of transparency and justice for victims.

The statement, issued from The White House, concludes with a call for truth and accountability, underscoring the need for continued investigation into Epstein’s network and the individuals connected to his activities.
