Adding another feather to the cap of Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Government Medical College & Hospital (SLBSGMC&H), Nerchowk, Mandi, final-year MBBS student Devanshi has brought immense pride to the institution by winning a Gold Medal at the prestigious MED-ASCENT 2026, an undergraduate medical academic conference hosted by Dr. Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College & Hospital (Dr. RPGMC&H), Tanda.
The conference, held from June 20 to 21, 2026, witnessed participation from undergraduate medical students representing various medical colleges across the region. Devanshi emerged as one of the top performers by securing the highest honour for her outstanding presentations in the Clinical Case Presentation and Research Poster Presentation categories.
