MLA Anuradha Rana Reviews Development Projects Across Shooling, Khangsar and Gondhla Panchayats in Lahaul-Spiti.

Lahaul-Spiti MLA Anuradha Rana conducted an extensive tour of several villages under the Shooling, Khangsar and Gondhla Gram Panchayats today to review ongoing development works, assess the implementation of government welfare schemes, and interact directly with local residents to address their concerns.
Accompanied by officials from various government departments, the MLA visited the villages of Raling, Khurpani, Jagla, Murticha and Khangsar under the Shooling and Khangsar Panchayats. She later toured Tiling, Khinang, Purd, Gondhla-1, Gondhla-2, Phuktal, Yangla, Thaurang and Dalang villages in the Gondhla Panchayat.
During the visit, Rana held interactions with villagers, listening to their grievances, development-related demands, and suggestions. She directed the concerned departmental officials to resolve public issues on a priority basis and ensure timely action on matters affecting local communities.
Reviewing the progress of various infrastructure and development projects, the MLA instructed officials to accelerate construction activities while maintaining quality standards and completing all works within the stipulated time frame. She sought detailed updates on ongoing projects and stressed the importance of efficient implementation to ensure that the benefits of government schemes reach every household.
Speaking during the tour, Rana said the Himachal Pradesh government is committed to the balanced and comprehensive development of rural areas and is focused on improving basic infrastructure and public services across every village. She reiterated that all genuine public demands would be addressed with sensitivity and that development projects linked to public welfare would receive the highest priority.
The MLA also warned that negligence or unnecessary delays in executing development works would not be tolerated and urged officials to remain accountable for delivering projects on schedule.

Residents welcomed the MLA’s visit and expressed appreciation for her efforts to personally assess the progress of development works and engage directly with the public. Villagers also thanked her for taking steps to expedite previously raised demands and development initiatives in the region.
Several elected representatives and local leaders accompanied the MLA during the tour, including District Council Member and Mahila Block Congress President Nirmala, District Council Chairperson Sonam Thakur, Shooling Gram Panchayat Pradhan Ashok, Khangsar Gram Panchayat Pradhan, Gondhla Gram Panchayat Pradhan Anil, BDC Member Sushila, former Block Congress President Ramesh, Rajender Thakur, Somdev Kyangkpa, Dunichand, Surender, Amir Chand, Umesh, Rakesh, Prem Chand, Ajay, Devdutt, Vinod, Neha Nalwa, Roshan, Sonam Angrup, Ranvir, Lal Singh, and several other public representatives and villagers.
The visit formed part of the MLA’s ongoing efforts to monitor grassroots development, strengthen public outreach, and ensure the effective implementation of welfare and infrastructure projects across remote areas of the Lahaul-Spiti district.
