Education Minister Rohit Thakur Highlights Cultural Heritage at Rampuri Jatar Closing Ceremony.

Himachal Pradesh Education Minister Rohit Thakur attended the closing ceremony and cultural evening of the historic three-day district-level Rampuri Jatar (a local fair) in Jubbal subdivision of Shimla district as the chief guest. Addressing the gathering, the minister underscored the importance of preserving the state’s rich cultural heritage and traditions through such festivals and community celebrations.

Thakur said that fairs and festivals are vibrant symbols of the region’s cultural identity. They not only strengthen people’s connection with their roots but also serve as a vital medium for introducing younger generations to Himachal Pradesh’s glorious traditions, folk culture, customs, and values.
