MLA Prakash Rana Felicitates Winners at Shaheed Man Singh Memorial Volleyball Tournament in Mandi, Pays Tribute to Martyr.

BJP MLA from Jogindernagar, Prakash Rana, attended the closing ceremony of the Shaheed Man Singh Memorial Volleyball Tournament held at Sarohali Ground under Jogindernagar assembly constituency of Mandi district yesterday, where he encouraged participating players and honoured the winning and runner-up teams.
Addressing the gathering, Rana said that sports are not merely about competition but serve as a powerful medium to unite society, inspire youth, and promote values such as discipline, teamwork, and dedication. He emphasized that sporting events provide young people with positive opportunities to channel their energy and contribute meaningfully to society.
The legislator lauded the enthusiasm and sportsmanship displayed by the participating teams throughout the tournament and congratulated the winners as well as all players for making the event a success. He also appreciated the efforts of the organisers for hosting the tournament in memory of Shaheed Man Singh, describing it as a fitting tribute to the martyr’s sacrifice and a source of inspiration for future generations.
During the programme, women from local Mahila Mandals also participated enthusiastically in traditional competitions, adding cultural vibrancy to the event. Rana commended their active involvement, stating that such participation strengthens community bonds and reflects the rich traditions of the region.
Congratulating the organising committee, players, Mahila Mandals, and local residents, the MLA thanked everyone for their collective efforts in ensuring the successful conduct of the tournament.
