Grand Tiranga Yatra Held in Dharampur to Mark Independence Day.

A grand Tiranga Yatra was organised in Dharampur market of Mandi district by the BJP Mandal ahead of Independence Day. The yatra was held under the leadership of Rajat Thakur, BJP State Working Committee Member, and witnessed enthusiastic participation from office-bearers of various BJP cells, members of the Mandal executive and senior party workers.
The entire Dharampur market reverberated with patriotic slogans during the procession. Carrying the national flag in their hands, BJP workers raised slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram,” creating an atmosphere of patriotism and national pride. The yatra conveyed a strong message of national unity, integrity and devotion to the country.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajat Thakur said that Independence Day is not merely a national festival but also an occasion to remember the brave freedom fighters who made the supreme sacrifice for India’s independence.

He appealed to people to hoist the Tricolour at their homes on Independence Day and demonstrate their responsibility and respect towards the nation. He said that the Tricolour is a symbol of India’s honour, pride and glory, and every citizen should contribute towards strengthening the country’s unity and integrity while maintaining due respect for the national flag.
Mandal President Lekhraj Thakur, along with office-bearers of various BJP cells, members of the Mandal executive and senior BJP workers, participated in the Tiranga Yatra.
The participants displayed considerable enthusiasm throughout the procession. The patriotic atmosphere continued across Dharampur market as slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” echoed through the town.
Through the yatra, BJP workers also urged people to celebrate Independence Day with national pride and enthusiasm and encouraged every family to proudly hoist the Tricolour at their homes.
