Bhuttico Celebrates 80th Independence Day with Flag Hoisting Ceremony.

The 80th Independence Day was celebrated with patriotic fervour and enthusiasm at the Bhuttico premises in Kullu district, where Bhuttico Senior Vice-President Rohit Thakur hoisted the Tricolour in the presence of employees, weavers, office-bearers, directors and other members of the organisation.
On the occasion, Rohit Thakur extended warm Independence Day greetings and congratulations to all those present. In his address, he paid tribute to the great freedom fighters and national leaders who made immense sacrifices for India’s independence. He remembered revolutionary martyrs such as Bhagat Singh and Chandra Shekhar Azad, along with national leaders including Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, acknowledging their contributions and sacrifices during India’s freedom struggle.
Addressing the employees and weaver members, Rohit Thakur called upon everyone to work together with dedication, hard work and commitment for the continued growth and progress of Bhuttico. He emphasised that collective effort and sincerity would help the organisation move forward and achieve greater success in the days ahead.
The celebrations also witnessed enthusiastic participation by the children of Bhuttico’s weavers. The children presented patriotic songs, creating an atmosphere of national pride and celebration. Sweets, including laddoos, were distributed among those present to mark the auspicious occasion.
Several senior office-bearers and members of Bhuttico attended the programme, including Vice-President Mohar Singh Thakur, Directors Atmaram, Madan Lal, Indira Devi and Jog Dhyan, Chief General Manager Surti Devi, General Manager Kishan Chand, General Manager Dinesh Thakur, along with other officers, employees and weaver members.
On the occasion, Bhuttico Chairman Satya Prakash Thakur also conveyed Independence Day greetings and best wishes to the people of the country, Himachal Pradesh and the district. He highlighted Bhuttico’s longstanding efforts for the welfare and development of weavers and said that the organisation would continue to work in the future in the interest of both weavers and customers.
Satya Prakash Thakur further stated that Bhuttico remains committed to strengthening and promoting the handloom industry and supporting the interests and livelihoods of the weaving community. He expressed confidence that continued efforts for the welfare of weavers and the satisfaction of customers would contribute to the further development of the handloom sector.
The Independence Day programme concluded on a patriotic and celebratory note, with participants reaffirming their commitment to working together for the progress of Bhuttico, the welfare of its weavers and the promotion of India’s rich handloom tradition.
