DAV Public School BSL Pandoh celebrated Independence Day with great patriotic fervour and cultural splendour. The programme was honoured by Kashmir Singh Thakur, Deputy Chief Engineer BBMB, along with BBMB officials, Principal Vandana Kapur, teachers, parents, and students.

The celebration began with a warm welcome to the Chief Guest, followed by the National Song, flag hoisting, and the National Anthem. Students presented a vibrant array of patriotic and cultural performances, including patriotic songs, group dances, Himachali Nati, Haryanvi and Punjabi dances, mime, poetry recitation, and solo performances.

The captivating performances reflected the students’ talent, confidence, and creativity while showcasing India’s rich cultural diversity. Students who excelled in various fields were also felicitated for their outstanding achievements.

Appreciating the performances, the Chief Guest encouraged the students to strive for excellence through hard work, discipline, and dedication.

Addressing the gathering, Principal Vandana Kapur emphasised that Independence Day is not merely a celebration of freedom but also a reminder of our duties and responsibilities towards the nation. She urged the students to uphold unity, integrity, discipline, and national pride, and to contribute positively to the progress of the country.

The celebration concluded on a spirited note, leaving everyone filled with patriotic pride and enthusiasm.
